I would like to recognize service lead KC at the Washington Avenue store for his exemplary performance. I was in need of a flat repair, and despite arriving late in the afternoon, he worked me in so I wouldn't miss work the next day. While in the waiting room I could see the manager Christiana in the bay walking the floor observing and engaging each of her staff members as they worked. It became obvious that KC's attentiveness was shaped by her leadership style. Based upon this positive experience, I have scheduled the purchase & installation of a full set of tires.

I can’t thank the team at Mavis enough! I had an appointment for an oil change and a tire replacement. Josh was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I wanted to feel confident getting on the road and know what maintenance I need to keep at the forefront to make sure I get it done when I can. He took time with me to let me know what he recommended and was understanding about what made the most sense for me to do today. The team overall I feel like really handled my car with attention and care and that was really helpful for me. Thank you!

I've been a loyal customer here for several years and generally felt I was receiving good, trustworthy service. Recently I brought my truck in for what I believed would be a routine serpentine belt replacement based on their recommendation. The price felt high for what was described as a quick job, but I trusted them. Shortly after, the belt began squealing loudly. I returned the next day and was told the idler pulley needed replacing β€” another $200+. That didn't fix it either. I was then told the alternator was likely the culprit at nearly $900. Before spending more, I got a second opinion. The diagnosis: the wrong belt had been installed. The correct belt was put on less than one-third of what Mavis had charged me β€” and the squealing stopped immediately. It has been running without the squeling for close to a week now. Additionally, repairs they told me were critical β€” including items serviced with them less than a year ago β€” were not flagged as concerns by the second shop. I didn't leave angry. I left disappointed. I gave this shop my trust over several years and feel that trust was taken advantage of. I'd encourage anyone to get a second opinion before authorizing additiona

Hands down one of the best auto shops I have been to. Ended up with a flat tire while riding through New Orleans and pulled into a Mavis. They were quick AND thorough. Despite being super busy, KC, the mechanic who helped us, took the time to answer our questions, quoted a great price, then managed to squeeze us into their crazy Sunday schedule. We were back on the road within an hour!

Had a great experience getting my car fixed. They were easy to talk to, explained what was going on without any pressure, and got the job done quickly. Everything runs great now and the price was fair. The mechanics KC & Eric were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain exactly what was wrong. Definitely someone I’d trust again and recommend to others.
